Your Flexy comes with the options of a deckmount plate or a ground insert base. The aluminum 14x14" square deckmount plate is designed to be bolted into a flat, solid surface whereas the zinc-plated ground insert base is designed to have its sleeve inserted into concrete for permanent installation. If portability is a necessity, consider upgrading to a freestanding offset base. The aluminum freestanding offset base comes in a pair-one for each side of the dual carrier posts-and is designed to have their two front stabilizer bars anchored down with 24x24" concrete pavers (sold separately).
